July 16-20

This week I'm still tracking samples. Now we are starting to send out more of the Resort samples instead of the Fall samples because Fall 2012 is already starting to hit stores!!

I've also been working on send descriptions and all of the information needed for stores to post on their website. 

One exciting thing that happened was that I got to share an elevator with Robert Duffy! If you don't know who he is....google it! So far that has been the only celebrity have seen. Oh and he even talked to me!

Then Friday, Kristen left me have a copy of the lookbook I had been helping proofread for the past 2 weeks!

The internship is almost over....I only have 3 weeks left :( but maybe I'll be able to come back up for market week in September!

July 9-13

This week I am still tracking samples, logging them in and out. I also was proof reading more lookbooks, making sure that everything was correct! I have also been keeping the showroom straight and keeping the closet neat and organized. 

I also got to help pull bags that are could possibly be used in Gossip Girl! Now I can't wait to watch the new season...even though its the last :(

I also got to help pick out some bags for another TV show but I don't know which one. Maybe one on the CW.

On Thursday I had my advisor come and visit me in the office! That was fun showing her around the showroom and having her meet my boss!

4th Of July Week

So this week was only a 4 day work week! The first half I was doing the same everyday tasks of checking samples in and out. Also entering a few orders. Then Tuesday I got off at 3! They let us start out holiday early!!

Thursday when I got back, I was still checking samples in and out. Putting stuff away that had come back from stores and didn't need to go anywhere else. I also got to help with the lookbook!  I was proof reading and making sure that everything was spelled correctly and had all of the correct information.

Then Friday we had a going away party for the receptionist and then had a summer friday! So I got to leave at about 3 that day!

June 23-30

This week I was doing pretty much the same tasks as always. We still had orders that needed to be entered. We were also starting to send out the new samples to stores and photo shoots for the resort line.

I'm also still entering a few orders and and logging sample in and out. I also got to clean up the closet and reorganize the Fall bags.

Week of June 18-22

This week consisted of mainly entering orders that were coming in, which were a bunch! And then also doing my everyday tasks of checking samples in and out. 

6/23 Saturday off...

Having weekends off is so much fun....I don't know if I can go back to working weekends!

On Saturday, I went to the farmers market in Fort Green. I was so much fun and there was so much good stuff there! I got some really good apple juice! 

 After we walked around the the farmers market, we went to get some lunch and we to a place close by. It was called the Habana Outpost. They had the best grilled corn ever!

Then we just laid in the grass at Fort Green Park. We just listened to people playing drums and watching people dance. 

The week after...

So the week after market week was a little more calm. There were still appointments going on but  there weren't as many people coming in and out of the office. I was still in the showroom but not as often. I forgot to mention before that they were catering all during market week! So I got free lunch for almost 2 weeks!

I've been keeping the showroom straight but we've started to get orders in from the stores. So I've been entering orders most of the week. I was working till 10:30 the other night because we had so many orders come in. I like entering orders because it's fun to see which items stores will order and how much of each item they will order. 

Its amazing to see the line when it's first presented and as time goes on during market week, many of the items or certain colors will be dropped from the line. 

Once Friday came around, everything was calm again in the office. But the sad part was that there was no more food.
